The church fully subscribes the 1689 London Baptist Confession and teaches with the Baptist Catechism in the 1813 Charleston edition. Its site traces the Reformed Baptist name to the English Puritan Baptists of the 1600s, naming Bunyan, Spurgeon, and Carey, and states its message plainly: "biblical, God-centered, confessional, historic, and practical." It is the only Kansas church in the Confessional Baptist Association's member directory, and it hosted the association's 2026 General Assembly in Lenexa this May under the theme "Spurgeon, the Man and his Ministry."
The Lord's Day runs worship at 10:00 AM, a study hour at 11:40, and a carry-in lunch at 12:45, every week. As of this summer the pulpit is preaching through Revelation and John, the adult study hour is in Hebrews, and children's classes meet by age group.
